The Touareg
On May 1st 2003, Volkswagen launched a new luxury 4x4 known as the Touareg. The Touareg has received very positive press coments that have positioned the car as an equal to vehicles such as BMW X5 and Volvo XC90 for on-road performance, whilst being considerably stronger off-road, than other rivals. So whether it's city driving, motorway cruising or off-roading you are faced with, you can rely on the Volkswagen Touareg to deliver great performance. The Touareg has a choice of two petrol engines and two class leading diesel engines. Prices start at £28,600 for the 2.5 TDI diesel variant and reach £50,445 for the 5.0 V10 TDI variant, which is the world's most powerful mass-production passenger car diesel engine.

The Phaeton
On 16th June 2003, Volkswagen also introduced the new Phaeton luxury saloon. which places Volkswagen against the most luxurious products of our premium competitors. The Phaeton is engineered to perfection and captivates the imagination through its exclusive blend of comfort, safety, style and power. From its innovative design and exceptional build quality to its superb comfort and serene performance, the Phaeton delivers from every perspective. The Phaeton has a choice of two petrol engines from launch and two diesel engines that will be available in early late 2004. Prices start at £42,905 for the 3.2 V6 petrol variant and reach £68,260 for the 6.0 W12 4MOTION flagship. All models are available in either 5 seat or 4 seat limousine configurations with an extensive list of factory options to tailor each vehicle to the customer's requirements. A long wheelbase version is now available for a £2,270 - £2,535 supplement.
